Export Stress Analysis Results

Good morning to all,

I would like to export the results of a stress analysis in a table format (.txt or other excel/matlab suitable format), in order to perform further analysis. Is it possible?

No, not with Inventor.

Post Processing in Inventor doesn't provide that kind of information.

This is really bad, because those numbers somewhere exist (teorically I can place a probe in all the points of my model and read that results...) but I cannot read them.

Just to go deeper with my problem: I cannot use Von mises criteria because the material I am using is fragile and has a compressive strength 10 times its tensile strength. I would like to use e.g. Rankine or Mohr-Coulumb criteria... and I cannot use it without export results!

The only Autodesk software that can do this is Autodesk Simulation Mechanical.

Thanks for your answers, sadly they are negative for me. I think it would be a simple and powerful improvement for Inventor to have this option and more in general much freedom to handle results.

If you put ever option in Inventor, there wouldn't be much market for Simulation Mechanical. I'm pretty sure there are some headed discussions between product groups as to how much FEA to put into a design product before it no longer needs the FEA product.

Yes, I think we can close this discussion. However I think this is not a good explanation, it's like to say they are hidding some numbers to sell a software more, not exactly the best way to act. I mean, I have these numbers, the software has calculated them, I cannot export them... for commercial causes. Not good for me but understandable.
