All,

Good day!  I am working on simplifying assembly models and including and would like to generate the necessary MEP Connectors for a model, then create a substitute model state and export the simplified part, with the MEP Connectors as a Revit family.  I'm not sure why this is not possible, using the steps I show below:

First I added the MEP Connectors to the Primary Model StateFirst I added the MEP Connectors to the Primary Model State

Then I created a Simplified Part Substitute Model StateThen I created a Simplified Part Substitute Model State

After Export to Revit (RFA), the Substitute Model State RFA has no MEP Connectors, while the Primary Model State shows themAfter Export to Revit (RFA), the Substitute Model State RFA has no MEP Connectors, while the Primary Model State shows them

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong and would be glad if someone gave me better steps.  I've also tried the BIM Definition tools with Informed Design, but they seem to have the same issue.  If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.  Thanks for your help, hope all is well, and have a most blessed day!

Peace,

Pete
