Export from Inventor to RFA and then place in a RVT keeping determinate coordinates

Does someone export from Inventor and convert a family in order to be placed in a Revit project, keeping a determinate coordinate?

HI!

To maintain the same coordinate as the project, I used to export as Revit file.

If you export as a family or RFA, the model as his own coordinates, not the architectural coordinates, and must be placed in Revit mannually.

Tip: you can import the revit file (or just some parts as reference: wall, floor, etc) and build your model using that as reference.

so if I export as a Revit file I just going to link the file to my main model, What about the main model performance? is still good if I have several links?

That depends on the size of the linked files.... the same for families or RFA... it all depends on the file size.
Tip: during the export as revit File, you can simplify the model: remove filets, holes etc etc.
