We are looking for an expanded diamond model, or
i-part if anyone has one. It is for a cage weld over a radiator, any help would be appreciated!!!

And before you ask, you do not want to actually model it. Patterns like that
will bring your system to its knees.

I need an actual model, not a bitmap, we have to be able to see thru it, does anyone have a "model"!!!

Place the bitmap in your workspace then in Colors, define a color with a
texture. In the Textures tab, select your workspace location and pick
the bitmap. Scale as desired. Since the texture is gray scale, it will
pick up the rest of its color information using the Ambient, Emisive,
Diffuse and Spectral settings you define. The Magenta will drop out and
those areas will be transparent. You may need to play with the angle to
get the effect you want.

DO NOT place the bitmap in your Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor
?\Textures\Surfaces directory. If you do, Pack N Go will not pick it
up. If this is something you do a lot, create a Textures directory and
store all your "after market" textures there. You can then add a
Textures path in your project file and select from that.

If you use the texture, the areas in purple will be see-thru

Hi there: The Help files have detailed info on this. Open the Help file,
type 'texture' on the index tab, double-click 'texture,' double-click
'Create and apply custom textures.'
