Executing Bend Part Command Failure

I've created a rectangular prism that is twisted by lofting with rails.

My intentions are to make a perfect ring using the twisted rod.

The rings inner dimension must be 16mm with its outer dimension being 20mm.

This means that diameter from the centre of each side of the ring must be 18mm.

18*Pi = 56.548667764616278292327580899031

This is the length of my rod, or, the center circumference of the ring.

I attempted to bend the part 360 degrees with a radius of 9 or (18/2).

It shows me a perfect preview of what i want, but when i press okay it says it failed.

If i give it a radius of 9.001 or anything higher, it works.

I understand the complexity of the design, but why can't I execute it at a value of 9? did I do something wrong? Help Please!

Do you want this to be a Bend rather than Sweep with Twist?

Hi!

JD is right, and i can confirm, you can do it easily with sweep + twist. Only in (INV 2015)

I was able to work around it by doing half the distance and making a pattern over to the other side. My goal is to merge the sections so that there are four continuous faces rather than 16. is this possible?

How did you do your sweep and twist? could you post?

Thanks Everyone!

Hi!

Yes, i understood what you mean, and in this case, the twist is 360 (1 turn) so, you will have the 4 faces (If it is a square) coincident in the begining and in the end.

Try to do it, If you can't i will post here the file...
