Excuse me, which files?

Opens a medium sized assembly drawing, and gets this message:

The message states "...the following files...", but forget to state which ones of the 433 files it refers to. At least a small hint had been appreciated...

Are you working in a mixed Inventor version environment?  If not and everybody is on Inventor 2019, there's no need to worry about the change in the last version saved format.

However it appears the sheet metal information in the legacy Inventor (sheetmetal) part doesn't match what you have now.

This is probably not too much of a practical problem, since everybody is on 2019. I would just been happy if I easily could find the files and update them.

However, if this concerns many files I suspect it could slow down the large assemblies due to unnecessary, repeated calculation time every time they are opened. Because then Inventor would need to migrate these files every time the assembly is opened, right?

Hi Torbjørn,

When you migrate the styles, did you use Styles Library Manager? It should show which styles were missing. I vaguely remember we had a bug complaining about missing styles in 2019, while there were not missing. Please make sure you install 2019.4 update followed by 2019.4.4 update.

Another nice one:

Opening a medium sized assembly (6800 comp, about 900 unique) and I get this warning:

Since I don't understand the message and wonder if it came from the assembly or one of the sub's, it is a bit hard to fix it. But so far, it seems to be a warning only, and the model still seems to work. So I continue.

But I have to admit that it feels like the fuse is lit...

Does Manage>Rebuild All return any errors/warnings?

Are there any I in circle glyphs (or triangles) in the browser indicating unresolved issues?

No errors on rebuild all. No reported errors in the model (red cross is greyed out). No i in circles or triangles in the main assembly, and I assume not in the some sub components since the red cross is inactive when the assembly is opened in a fresh restarted inventor.

I see now that the warning seems to pop up when going from express mode to fully loaded model.

Hi Torbjørn,

This means the underlying issue was not yet resolved. The error means the particular material style referenced by a sheet metal rule(s) is missing in the sheet metal file and also the active Material Library. Please open the sheet metal part file(s) to see the what material style is missing.
