Error when editing CC user library

Will someone please tell me what causes the attaced error message? I can't figure it out.

The Error occurs to the Heavy Hex Bolts when I change the material, although this is the first time I've ever attempted to edit this CC Family Table.

The Error also occurs when changing the standard Hex Bolt Family Table "File Name" property to an equation, which returns the exact same result as the fixed values in the cells that were there before the change.

What do I need to know about the CC fasteners (hex bolts) that will allow me to customize them?

And what are all possible CAUSES of the attached error message?

Thanx ...

I have found the same thing with the hex cap screw - inch family. The problem is in the 1" size. There are a number of duplicate 1-8 UNC parts. Delete the duplicates.

Turns-out the AD OEM CC Family Table had 2 errors in it in the 2 3/4 Hex Bolt.
There were 2 each of 10" NLG & 12" NLG.

Solution was to change one 10" to 9" and one 12" to 11".

Problem: Data entry error in the original Inventor CC file.

Thanx for the advice.

Turns out there weren't 2 dupliates, but the NLG was WRONG for 2 of them.

Check my "Solution" post.

I'm guessing the same is true of the Heavy Hex Bolts.

Hopefully, if you CC prolems are the same, you'll need to change the lengths to increment by 1".

Hope this helps ....

Glad you were able to fix your problem. What I described is, I think, a bit different than your situation. In my case, I found that the out-of-the-box CC tables in Inventor 2015 have duplicate parts. When you copy the family to your custom CC you get the error when you edit and try to save.

Yeah, my problem is exactly the same for Heavy Hex Bolts.

But for standard Hex Bolts, they screwed-up the lengths.

One would think they would fix this in futher releases, since it takes very little man-power for AD to do so, whereas it wasted powers of 10 man-power for their customers to do the work they should be doing ...

Having this issue with 2018 but didn't find the error you mentioned.  Started deleting rows.  It's somewhere between 1" to 1-1/2" when sorted by diameter.  Accomplished what I needed for now - no time to investigate further.
