Equation curves

Hi There,

I've created the following sketch using the equation curve with the following in formation:

x(t) = t

y(t) = 1 mm * 1 ul - 1 mm * cos(1 rad * ( 2 ul * PI ) * ( t / 10 ul ))

I create the following sketch and it will only extrude the internal region. It will extrude the entire profile. It will also have difficulty trimming areas that are formed with the equation line. The sketch is entirely closed. There are no gaps.

This appears to be a bug. Please advise.

I have attached an image of the problem and a file. Please advise.

Hi Paul,

it seems that you have some sketch elements that are not connected to each other, i.e. there are no gaps, but you have 2 points at the same position - not a single point. Try to right-click line/curve and select "Close Loop", then click on other edges that you are able to select and accept creating additional constraints.

After closing the loop I was able to extrude the outer profile.

You are also missing two Equal (=) constraints.
