Hi Experts

I am trying to edit partlist in drawing level. Some of the cells and columns are painted with colour, which cannot be modified. Please someone explain what is really means. How can I fix it.

They're read only. Your top ones are from Content centre or a locked library and the ones at the bottom are from frame generator so they cannot be changed

Hi SharkDesign

The painted cell belongs to regular parts, called corrugated sheets. They are not from content center. The other parts are Frame Generator Members.

But do you have access to edit the corrugated sheet because the image suggests they are ready only?

Yes SharkDesign, I have access to all the parts, and they are on my local desktop. I am the only person on this project. Its not even on Vault, Its standalone project.

They are merged rows: look at the item numbers - there are several in each row.

You will probably have to make changes to each of the parts in a row. (I'd probably do it in the Bill of Materials and paste a bunch.)

@dan_inv09

They are grouped as per the mass and then description. Because the masses of the identical item will be same.

I tried as you mentioned, but no luck.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Hi! They are not editable because the Group is enabled. Disable it and the rows will be editable. After you finish changing it, you may enable Group again.

Many thanks!
