Hi

I created some lines using patterns. But I couldn't do any edits ( Example : split )

Is there any reason?

Thanks

There are probably some limits to how clever the software can be in regards to edits made on lines in a pattern.

My understanding is that all lines in Inventor have some hidden ID, and that ID changes as you change the line, so I can see the limits there are propagating that through patterns.

If you uncheck associative you can perform edits after, but of course that also breaks the patterning function
