Editing Annotation Styles in Model

How do you edit the annotation style while in Model Space?  I know how to do it in a drawing, but it doesn't work in a model.  How to I do things like include the leading zero?  Per ASME for metric dimensions a leading zero should be included, but it doesn't give me the option.  Even if I enter the dimension with a leading zero, it doesn't include it.

Hi

This can be changed in the Style and Standard Editor.
But S&SE gives access to annotation and dimension styles only in the drawing file.
You need to open (create) the drawing file and change and save the settings in S&SE.
Remember to change the ability of the settings to read-write in the project settings.

Unfortunately, this is not correct.  There is no "annotation" style to edit, even in a drawing file, that corresponds with the annotations in a model.

MBD are dimensional standards.

Look for the 3DA style in the drawing environment.

Hi! Kacper is right. To change the 3D Annotation style, you will need to do it in a drawing. It is because there isn't a tool in the Part or Assembly environment to edit the 3D Annotation style (though the styles are indeed in an ipt or iam file).

The process of changing it could be a bit tedious but it is doable. Here is an article describing how to do it.

Is this something that is coming to a future version of Inventor as MBD becomes more normalized?
