Edit part in Assembly inv 2014

When I double click a part in an assembly it does not edit the part.

When I right click "edit" is greyed out.

How do I edit a part in an assembly.

Possibly you may be in Express Mode, not sure why, but some commands are not accessible in this mode.

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Thank you! Why does 2014 default to open express view if more than 500? Also would be helpful if you mentioned how to turn off express.

In the Application Options, either increase the threshold or disable:

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

If you want to leave on the default - click Load Full.
