Edit Model Dimensions from Parts List or Table

Hello,

I know it is possible to edit model dimensions from drawing views, but does anyone know if it is possible to edit those values from a Parts List (if the parameters are included) or from a table placed on a drawing?

This can be done in Creo so I'm wondering if Inventor has any similar functionality. From what I can tell so far it doesn't seem that way.

Thanks in advance for any help or thoughts on the topic. I didn't manage to find this in any older threads but apologies if I missed it somewhere.

No, you can't.  You have to edit the values from the model.

If you have used "Retrieve Model Dimensions" to detail your drawing views, you can change model parameters from the drawing via the dimension.  But there is no equivalent way to do so using the parts list or tables.

Yes, you can edit the dimensions in the drawing and obviously the model, but not in the way you are looking for in a table or BOM.  Feel free to add this as an idea in the Inventor IdeaStation
