Hello,
I would like to ask for help. I want to make a dynamic simulation of assembly. The idea of the simulation is to show the movements of the elements. The elliptical element is fixed on the axis. It only has the ability to trade. The vertical and horizontal tile is tangent to the ellipse at the highest point in the vertical axis. In addition, the horizontal plate rolls along an ellipse. Is it possible to create such a dynamic simulation to see the velocities of given details?
I don't understand this part of your problem description.
In the real world two bodies cannot occupy the same space.
Hello @JDMather
Thank you for response. Correct. There will never be such an event. In my case, I want to check how the elements will behave during movement. What speeds, feed, etc. I wanted to simulate the screen printing on an oval bottle with this system. Below is a video with an example.

OK
One issue is that Dynamic Simulation will not select Ellipse for 2D Contact - it must be a spline or tangent arcs.
There is a way around this issue - but I have forgotten it and will have to do some research...
Dynamic simulation: Using an ellipse in 2d contact - Autodesk Community - Inventor
I will have to wait till tomorrow to present my solution.
The easiest solution would be to replace the Ellipse with Tangent Arcs if that result is "close enough".
I remembered how to overcome the Ellipse issue.
Create a Trace to add to the elliptical part. The Trace will be a Spline.
