Check if your 3D mouse is being pressed/displaced, or any keyboard arrows/keys are stuck in pressed down mode.

Hi @Gabriel_Watson ,

This happened after I applied the solution you have provided for the dialog box resizing on this forum.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/unable-to-resize-dialog-box/m-p/10712225#M844737

I think it has to do with the graphics of Inventor 2022.

Which of the solutions? Do you mean solution two as the "checkmark Software Graphics under Tools (tab) > App. Options > Hardware"?

I have come across glitches like this one in the past, but typically where the Appearances/Materials lists would disappear but could still be scrolled through (one item showing at a time). That would fix itself after closing and re-opening Inventor.

If your issue persists I would try this similar fix someone found for Fusion 360, which indicates it could be a Windows setting issue:

Try also disconnecting/unplugging any wireless mouse and reconnecting it after 10 seconds.

Do you use multiple monitors? Long-shot but maybe the display scaling has something to do with it:

The solution you said " Inventor shortcut on your Desktop and go to Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings > checkmark "Override..." and pick "System (Enhanced)". To fix the dialog box resizing issue.

Currently Im using how you have described (selecting one at a time) using the down arrow key.

I will go thru your list of suggestions and will report back to see if any of them solved the issue.

thanks again for all your help.
