Drawing views

Hi all,

I am creating drawings for assemblies (using save as) and I want to keep some views (all plates on right hand side of drawing) and change the main assembly views (left hand side)but when i delete the views I want to replace the drawing title block changes to the second part  placed into the drawing. Can I replace the new main assembly into the drawing and make the drawing title block pick up the properties from the new inserted assembly?

See attachment for drawing view.

Thank you

You could use the replace model reference command in the drawing environment.  This will replace the model that the idw is referencing and, if they are created from the same source, it will even keep all of your dimensions, leaders, etc.  It will also recognize the new model as the first one placed so it will grab all title block data from this new model.
