Drawing resolve link requires fea files - Inv 2016 - not really needed?

I see a dialogue box wanting to resolve file links.

The file being opened is a drawing & the required files from an fea study.

Don't really need fea files in the drawing - this is just an observation, don't think there's a way to avoid the resolve link dialogue. either fix the link or break it - pretty sure there's no other option.

First this is not a resolve link issue..  Inventor (due to project settings) has found this given FEA file in numerous locations and what's to know which one to use.  Granted on the drawing side its not going to matter which one is used.

I have the same issue with one of my models.  In my case, I inherited these model files and the path for the FEA files it is looking for, is one that the originator that doesn't even work at my company created.

Regardless, here is a thread that may work for you.  Didn't for me because of the above reason, but doesn't mean they wont for you.
