Is it possible to add function when you create a line in sketch? Drawing a line from the center. It saves a lot of clicking.
Do you mean snapping to another line's midpoint?
Or just creating a line from its midpoint to one of the ends? I think the closest you can get to this is using a "two point center" rectangle, and you would need to delete additional lines which kinda defeats the purpose... maybe you could simply add an idea to the Ideastation for this kind of rectangle to allow 0 (zero) height, which essentially would make a single line as you want:

Midpoint Line does not exist in Inventor.
My usual practice is to draw the line, then coincident constrain the center point to the desired location. I have the Coincident Constraint on a shortcut key, so it is very quick.
Yes, a Midpoint Line tool would be even more efficient. Perhaps this has been requested in the Inventor Ideas forum.

I also would love to see this feature in Inventor.
Of course you can draw a line a constrain it on its center but it would be more streamlined doing the other way.
I'm back in Inventor since working +5 years with Solidworks and I cannot express enough how painful it is.
It's like Inventor got stuck in time since...
