Document already open in memory....

I am getting the following message when placing views into my drawings.

"One or more of the documents you are attempting to open is already open in memory. To get the latest versions of these files, please continue and use Refresh File. Would you like to continue?"

I have referenced and tried the suggestions found here:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/inventor-holding-versions-in-memory/td-p/6800249

Deleted all working folders and opened directly from vault, with inventor closed, no other files checked out except what is used in the drawing... Not sure where I am going wrong still.

Hi Erik,

The warning tells you that the Inventor files loaded in the memory were from older file versions. The ones on disc (get from Vault) are newer. This means that somebody checked in newer versions after you load them in Inventor.

Refresh command will help you reload the files in the memory. However, you may lose unsaved change to those files.

Many thanks!
