Disable reflections & textures in modelling environment?

Hello,

Is there any way to stop reflections of parking lots etc. showing on my models? Many times when I check a model out from our document control system it looks like this and I have to manually change the appearance of parts each time.

 Is there a way to make everything display a simple flat colors? I have absolutely no need for reflections, wood grain, tiles, bark, carpet etc on my parts.

Tools>Application Options>Colors tab and set the Reflection Environment.

I recommend Chrome.dds (might sound counterintuitive, but check it out).

Would you believe, mine was set to ParkingLot.dds. 🙄
