Disable Gesture Menu

After using Inventor for about half a year at a new job, I'll be the first to admit, not a fan.

One of the biggest banes of my existence is the gesture menu.  If I could, i would prefer to make click and hold middle mouse button rotate, and click and hold right click pan, but from what I've gathered reading other posts, these are hardcoded features that can't be changed.

Failing the ability to do that, I'd like to at least disable the gesture menu, so if I accidentally try to right click and drag, I don't end up accidentally selecting something I don't want to do.  I've seen posts about doing it in the past, but the instructions I've seen I can't find a way to follow in Inventor 2021.  Is there a way to disable this in Inventor 2021?

Tools...Options Section.. Customize Button --> Marking Menu Tab.. check the box for "Use Classic Context Menu".

If you plan to be in the CAD world for a while I HIGHLY suggest a 3d controller like a 3d Connexion Space Mouse

https://www.3dconnexion.com/products/spacemouse.html

The time you save in moving around in the 3d world will easily pay for the device in a short time..

Space Mouse in left hand/Regular Mouse in right hand and you can model circles around anyone without that setup..

Thanks mate, felt it just had to be moved somewhere different.

I do actually have a spacemouse (pretty much require it anywhere I work), but sadly the axial controls have ceased functioning since we upgraded to 2021 recently.  Side buttons still work, but it's just a paperweight now if I want to use it to orient or rotate a part.  Still working on figuring that out...one of my coworkers had IT update the drivers since we can't do that himself, but they kept his computer tied up all day, not sure if it fixed anything, and sadly management doesn't accept "My second mouse isn't working" as a reason for why tooling isn't getting designed lol.

is there a way to keep the radial menu but avoid the drag feature? I don't remember having this issue in my previous Inventor version, but since the 2025 upgrade I've noticed multiple times where if I accidentally click the right mouse button and drag, then let go, it will accidentally undo...measure...etc. I want to keep the radial menu but only use it if I click right click once, then left click on the specific option.

thanks.

Hi! The radial menu is called Marking Menu. It can be turned on or off (View -> User Interface -> uncheck Marking Menu).

Many thanks!
