Disable 'Delete View' prompt

Hello,

Each time I want to delete a view I've placed in a .dwg I'm greeted with the annoying pop-up and associated notification sound, asking if I really want to "Delete view "VIEWX"?.

Is there a way to disable this prompt?

It's a security procedure.

Sometimes it's easy to click del with a projection selected when you really want to delete an axis or dimension.

OK, I see. However, accidentally deleting a view is easily rectified by pressing Ctrl+Z. I'm annoyed at having to confirm a deletion each time. Perhaps the option to disable the warning will be added in a future version.

How often do you delete views?

I can't remember such a situation, and I design every day.

It sure does happen, but it's rare.

What could this be?

Submit your idea to Idea Station.

If it's important, a lot of members will support you and it will be implemented.

There are a number of prompts that can be managed in Application Options\Prompts, where you can decide on a response and whether or not you want to see the prompt.  Unfortunately, this is not one of them.  You may want to check the Idea Forum to see if it has been requested, and if not add a request to have this put on the Prompt list.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I'll create a post in the Idea Forum.

Perhaps I create and delete views more often than others, hence why I encounter the prompt often, nevertheless I suspect an option to disable it wouldn't be too difficult to implement by Autodesk. Just another option.
