3D sketch dimension issues

Curious if anyone else has experienced this in Inventor 2023?  We've created a 3D sketch (of a piping run), and the line segments don't always measure the dimension that's been input.  The image below shows the problem.  It seems to vary. One dimension that was input at 785mm measured 1085.xxx mm. Then, some are correct.  We've uninstalled and reinstalled INV.23 on that machine now to see if it fixes it.  I created the same sketch path on my machine and it came out as expected.

One thought crosses my mind.
Didn't you measure the loop length when Inventor overestimated it?

If it actually gives different values, then the matter is serious enough that you can report it to Idea Station.
This is unacceptable for engineers.

I had thought that might be the case initially. What we did find is if you open the dimension dialogue box and just click the tick without making a change, it corrects the length of the line.  We had one line that was supposed to be 2mm, and it measured 4.5xxmm.

We have reported it to Autodesk. As you say, this can have serious ramifications for users.

Hi Stewart,

The behavior does not look right. If possible, please share the ipt file with such dimensions. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!
