I have modeled a pipe former wheel
with three chamfered corners on each side. In the original sketch the corners were angular
and the chamfers were added after the model was created by revolving the sketch. My problem is how to dimension to the chamfered corners in the drawing.
My trusty textbook doesn't help. Is it, in fact, possible to provide dimensions for the machinist in the drawing?

Sorry. I was not trying to dimension the chamfer, I was trying to include a diametric dimension across the chamfered curve. However, as often happened, when I was trying to show you what I wanted to do, I found myself doing it.
AI dimensions to the centrepoint of the chamfer curve.
Thanks for you help.
Hi Vagulus,
You are talking about fillets, not chamfers.
I don't think you created the correct dimensions on the drawing. Look at the screencast, if you use "intersection" you can dimension to where the two lines would intersect.
Hope it helps, good luck!
