Can we get the measuring dialog to honour the decimal setting for all data ?
Most of the time I'm not intrested in the real distance between 2 keypoints but rather their XYZ distances. Unfortunately the XYZ is always 3 decimals, no matter the setting for real distance.
What version of Inventor are you using? With the 2016 measure tool and All Decimals chosen, the fields show no trailing zeros, and the XYZ fields show no more decimals than the Document Settings value (up to five). In 2017, the XYZ fields respect the measure setting, regardless of the document settings. In 2018 and following, the whole Measure tool has been redesigned as shown by @Sergio.D.Suárez .
I think its time (past time) for you to upgrade.
