Dimension breaks when text is near

Hi,

As per attached video, is there any way to overcome this?

I don't have space to just move the dimension, so it doesn't interfere with the text box break.

When I do the workaround of moving the text, adjusting the dimension, then putting the text back, it sometimes randomly breaks again.

Is there a permanent fix?

Hi! This was implemented a few years ago as a means to avoid dimension lines and text object collision. I am not aware of an option to disable it. You will need to move the text object elsewhere no dimension lines collide with the text.

If it really bothering you, you can make text as a sketch symbol
