Dimension appearing with Extrusion symbol

Is my geriatric mind playing tricks on me (again) (still) or did AI once show the extent of an extrusion beside the extrusion symbol in the pane to left of drawing area? It does not appear now and I would like it to. Similar preference would apply to the Fillet or chamfer symbols.

If it did, how do I get it back?
