Not sure what this message means or how to fix it.

Any clues or suggestions?

@Tom_Dedrick

I assume this is coming for Inventor Content Center?

Are these parts coming from the standard read-only libraries (meaning the ones that are provided as part of the installation)?  Or are they based on a custom (read-write) content center library that you guys created?

There is some odd- behavior and issues happening with Inventor 2017 content center that Autodesk is working on.

One final thing..  Do you have unique member/file names for these files?

This message appears when saving an assembly that was originally created several years ago and has gone through several revisions over the years.

I do not know what files are producing this message and I do not find files with these 3 names when I search form them in Vault. Over the years we have used a mix of content center and iPart fasteners.

Hi tom.dedrick,

I'm all but sure that's a message from an iPart.

It's telling you that the name which the member files set to use are not unique, so one file might try to save over the top of the other.

If you open the fastener files in question the non-unique values should be highlighted as shown I the image below.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Thank you Curtis,

It was an iPart and I was able to find the part with the errors in the table and get it fixed.
