Detail View Dropping Line On Update - Bug?

Just checking to see if this is a known issue, or if someone at Autodesk would like to take a look (in which case I can share the data set).

In the video below the detail view doesn't update correctly when the boundary is resized.

This is reproducible with Inventor 2017 & 2018

Just for reference, this is the part that is not being drawing correctly in the detail view, in case the general shape or related geometry is known to cause an issue???

Hi Curtis,

The behavior does not look right. Either the body geometry is bad or the body is surrounded by other bad bodies or there is an interference. Could you open the assembly and run Interference Analysis on the components of interest?

Many thanks!

Hi @johnsonshiue,

I check for an interference in that area and there is none. The body geometry being bad seems to be correct, as we can resolve this issue by saving a copy of the part file, and then replacing it in the assembly with the copy.

So in this case it seems to be specific to the part file.

Thanks for taking a look,
Curtis
