Deriving a part messes up his Origin

I'm experiencing this weird problem since Inventor 2013. 

Basically: When I open a new document and derive a model; If I create a new sketch on the derived part: the origin Axis are messed up.

Like in the picture

The Strange thing is that I modeled the original part around the origin and when I go to check the axis on it:  They are fine

I'm experiencing this Issue since Inventor 2013.

In 2012: everything works fine.

Note:  The axis messes up only if I have a polyline shaped solid.   If it is a simple solid, like: circle, square, triangle  then It won't mess up the axis on the derived part.

Anyone know why ?

Attach your new part file here along with the model you used to derive.

Edit: Also are you up to date on Inventor 2013 service packs?

If you create a new sketch on a feature, inventor will set the sketch origin based on the feature. This may not be the same as the part origin.

I think you are right

At the same time I found out that is not a deriving problem.  Its a sketch problem

Apparently the Axis of the part are still in their original position.

What the problem is: The sketch Axis can't find the original one to project from

If you look at the picture: I'm also trying to manually adjust the sketch origin in order to get the Axis projected right but inventor won't let me position it in the center.

I can only position the UCS on the points that surround the other features.

This is quite annoying as the axis are there and I should be able to position the UCS either on the center point or on the Z Axis .

In the second picture: I had to create a dummy extrusion in order to be able to access again the original center point.

I've done some progress and discovered that inventor messes up only the parts with a hole corresponding to the origin

It places the origin at the first available point

If I try to reposition the UCS at the center; It doesn't let me do it.   I can place it only at the border or on any other point where the solid is present.

This still happens with Inventor 2017

Whenever possible and practical - use the Origin Planes as your sketch plane rather than a part face.
