Defer Update Toggle/shortcut?

Is there some undefined shortcut or something that activates this? I have never turned it on intentionally, yet the thing routinely pops back on. It's infrequent enough that I don't recall the cause of the issue i'll be having, then i look up and it's 'duh'. But what the hell keeps turning it back on??

I want it to stay off and if there's a shortcut I want it removed. I did look in the customize dialog and nothing is assigned to it.

You can assign a hotkey to it.. Seems like you have checked that though..

Have you installed all updates? 

I keep having the save reminder turning back on and can't find a trigger so its certainly possible that there is a bug/workflow that may cause an issue..

Yeah, i'm on 2019.4.4, so i'm as up to date as I can be until fall when we go to 2021.

Seems to recur more under 2019 vs 2017, but it's annoying nonetheless 🙂

Hi Mike,

Is this about Assembly Defer Update or Drawing Defer Update? They are two different commands. The Drawing one is controlled in Doc Setting, while the Assembly one is an App Option. I am not sure if there is toggle for either.
