Default DXF Version when exporting sheet from Nesting Utility

Hi,

Can anyone shed some light on what the DXF version is used when exporting a sheet to DXF from Inventor Nesting Utility?

I've exported a sheet and when reviewing the DXF in Notepad I'm not seeing the $ACADVER string.

I have checked to see if it ties to the export configuration but I'm not seeing anything there. There's also no Options button in the Save As dialog from Nesting as I would get if I export a face from a flat pattern in the Sheet Metal part itself.

In the attached .zip file, TEST1 has been generated by exporting the face from the flat pattern.

TEST2 has been generated by exporting the sheet from Nesting Utility.

Thanks

Yes, there is no version information in the DXF file exported by Nesting Utility. It shoulde be considered as R12. We use this version to make it work fine with machines that only understand "older" versions of DXF file.

And currently there is no options for the user to specify the version of DXF file.

This statement is 100% correct. Additionally, we have no plans to support any other version export than the R12 it currently outputs.
