default component pattern positioning method in assembly

Has anyone else noticed that the default possitioning method in assemblies changed from Fitted to Incremental at some point? I am not sure when this happened. This is only a bit anoying because I was used to the fitted and now I have to take an extra step to change it. If they are interested in improving workflow, this is a small thing that can help. As far as I know there is no way for me to change the default.

@A_Worst we made the enhancement in Inventor 2024 to support the "Incremental" & "Fitted" option in circular component pattern, and the default value is "Incremental". As to circular feature pattern, we have supported these two options for a very long time, and the default value is "Fitted". Do you mean you prefer to keep "Fitted" as default for both component and part circular pattern here? many thanks!

@Yijiang.Cai is there a way to change these default values?
Does it have to be done at a template level? (Tried this, it does not save the changes)
Or Applications Options level? (Can't find where to change this)
Or another way? Changing registry (like in windows) or something else?

Ultimately I would like to have it default to 2 instances, 360deg and fitted, for circular pattern in an assembly.

@sultan_mustun I suppose you prefer to have the setting last used. Now it is not supported in circular pattern component/feature dialog. If possible, could you please submit the idea for the votes, which is really helpful for us to prioritize the requests late? Many thanks!

@Yijiang.Cai well noted. It would be nice to have the possibility to use the last setting used, but I would prefer to be able to modify the default setting itself. Or to have the option to choose between both.
