De extruding part of a model

I have a part of a model that I have made and I was wondering if there is a way of making the element of it sticking out to be able to go inwards without completley designing the model again?

Here is a picture of the model:

P.S i am using Inventor 2014

Simply edit the Extrusion feature and change to Cut rather than Join.

Attach your *.ipt file here if you can't figure it out.

Hi! Like JD suggested, you can edit the feature and change the type of operation. Or, you can use Direct Edit -> Move -> select the face and drag it outward.

Thanks!
