Hi @Dhegderx

Open the part(s) that you don't want to be cut.>Tools>Modeling>deselect "Partecipate in Assembly and Drawing Sections

Hi! This could be tricky in Inventor. It requires multiple cuts. I guess you may want to place the assembly to another assembly, then create two Extrude Cuts. In this way, the original assembly isn't modified. This new assembly can be used for documentation purposes.

I don't think there is a way to get the desirable result using the graphics section view in the model (View -> Section View).

BTW, while it is convenient to type in all-cap letters, it is very hard to read. It looks as if you are yelling at the readers.

Many thanks!

You can simply create a Assembly sketch and use extrude cut, if you turn the visibility of the parts you don't want cut off before extruding they will automatically be excluded from the extrude and you just have to toggle there visibility back on afterwards .

Video showing how to do the extrude

You can also add participants to the extrude which I showed in the video after the fact but I didn't show how to remove them from the extrude, basically you can right click on them and select "Remove participant" as per the below image

You could manually change the parts option from participating in the section and then do a "Three Quarter Section View" but this would take more effort and you can simply suppress the extrude when you want the assembly to go back to its normal state.
