Custom Drawing Template not Showing ITEM field on Part List Configuration

Hi all,

I'm creating a Drawing Template to fit my needs for a school project, but I'm notable to get the ITEM possition on the part list.

If I do a test with the ANSI template included on Inventor, the Part List works and it shows the ITEM fields.

On my configuration I'm don't get this ITEM field to add to my Part List configuration.

Any ideas what I heve missed?

I have done a small video for better understanding.

(I'm using Inventor Student Version)

Hello @ARamos08 I see that you are visiting as a new member to the Inventor Forum.
Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

If you can attach your .idw template to investigate further that would be helpful.

What standard did you begin with for this template? It is usually there by default, did the ITEM column somehow get deleted from the referenced model or the name changed?

Hello @ARamos08 thanks for attaching the drawing file.

It appears that the ITEM and QTY in a standard Parts List were converted to Pos. and Pos. for this template setup. (Qant. reports same as QTY.) A simple test is to add all columns and see what they are reporting.

I cannot explain, but it does seem to be reporting the correct info when used.

Did this happen out of the box, or did you tinker with it for a while and get it to happen?

Thanks Kelly Young,

I don't have any idea how this appned. Also I don't know how to reset this.

That solved the problem.

Regards,

ARamos
