Hello,
We recently setup a vault and I am setting up a custom CC library. I created an ipart U Bolt and publish the part. But I do not see it in out custom CC library. The way we have it setup now is that we downloaded the ANSI and ISO libraries and have to "copy to" our library. Then when I change the library view to "MSU Custom CC Library" it shows the parts i copied and i expected it to show the recently published part.
If someone could answer this simple question it would help a lot, thank you very much in advance

Your posting is a little confusing. Where is the part missing, when you try to place it into an assembly?
Also why are you downloading ANSI or ISO libraries to make a custom one? There's no need to download anything..
I would recommend that you review this article https://synergiscadblog.com/2014/03/17/working-with-autodesk-inventor-content-center-part-2-of-3/ and make sure you're using the correct workflow to setup a custom read/write CC library in Vault (or desktop content center).

We had a SolidCAD employee come in and setup our vault and he suggested doing it this way. I dont want to have to chose 100's of parts. so by downloading ht library in a CC center I was able to delete most of the nuts and bolts etc. The part is now not showing up in the CC center when i try to place it in a assembly

Take a look at the screencast. First thing is to make sure the Custom Content Library is declared "available" in your company Inventor Project File. Second, if you do not add custom setting to the CCL Family Properties, it will be hard to find it when you are trying to find it when you try to place it in the assembly. The screencast covers both of these.
