Create sketch missing when selecting origin planes 2018.2 R227

Hi team,

I am suddenly missing the 'create sketch' button that used to pop up when selecting an origin plane. 

Selecting faces, workplanes etc still works as expected.

Has anyone else noticed this behaviour?

In a part environment, correct?  It works here: click on an origin plane in the browser, and the floating Create Sketch icon pops up on the screen.  Tried it in both a new (empty) part and one with geometry already present.  Wonder what's different with your system-- graphics, possibly?

Hi Paul,

Do you have Factory Add-In installed? If yes, this is a known issue with Factory Add-In. We don't have a good solution yet unfortunately. If you don't have Factory Add-In installed, you may want to try using Inventor Reset Utility and see if it helps.

I DO have the factory addin installed. I can confirm that, if I unload the Factory plugin - the 'Create Sketch' button is back when selecting the origin planes.

Let me know when there is a fix 🙂
