We have an issue Vault hanging on creating DWF file through the job processor, but it seems not a Vault related problem, as we can not create DWF neither using Inventor. It just hangs. Anyone an idea what could be the issue?

Hi Johan. Do you have Autodesk Design Review installed on your machine? And, if not, is this box checked when you try to Save as DWF?

No, it does not need to be checked. If ADR is NOT installed, and that box is checked, it would explain the problem.... but it looks like this is not the cause.

I checked with a colluege, and it hangs on his computer too.
By accident I found the problem. It was 1 part in the assembly that made it un-DWF-worhty. Don't know what's wrong with it, but when removing it, the export to dwf works just fine.

Looks like @johnsonshiue provided a solution on this thread. Fingers crossed!

Hi Johan,
To save you a few clicks, here is the file. Basically, the thread faces are the problem. Inventor has trouble exporting them properly. Removing the faces makes it work. Please see attached file.
Many thanks!
