when you select a din through hole with a counterbore,

e.g. for screw din en iso 4762 M8, the depth is 9 mm, but the standard uses 8.6 mm

Good catch, Norman.

Inventor Counterbore depth sizes are ok with DIN 74 Part 2. I found a note (May 1991), that they shall be replaced with DIN 974 Part 1 . In that note DIN 74 Part 2  is intended  to be obsolete with April 1996.

Hi Walter and Norman,

This is a bug. We do have standard compliance issues (CC, hole table, and drawing). I have forwarded this thread to the project team and see if this is a known issue.

Many thanks!
