Hi,

I would like an option to copy Model parameter to User parameter and use the New User parameter on the parameter directly. In this right-click dialog:

Hi!

Do you mean as a custom Parameter?

... or do you mean to have a new parameter based on other, to create a formula? ex: d19= d1 +d2

You have to explain better what's your goal...

I would like a right click option to Copy To User Parameter + add the User parameter to the parameter without me having to write the User Parameter/ List the parameter in the equation field.

You can copy/paste.

Yes, I know. But my goal is to link the parameters with as few clicks as possible.

What do you mean by custom parameter?

Export to Custom Parameter:

Nowadays, copy/paste is the most common way to do it.

If you have a good idea to enhance the process, submit that to the "Inventor Ideas Forum" and the developers will take a look on that.

I'm used to create User Parameter then set Model Parameter to that.

Another thing you can do is just change d0 to the name you want.

It don't need to be in User Parameter.

I've added it to the idea station here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideas/copy-model-parameter-to-user-parameter-and-use-user-pa....

@I'm used to create User Parameter then set Model Parameter to that.

That's the tedious work I want to skip. In this way, this will make me choose the model parameter I want to make to user parameter and automatically link them two together.

@Another thing you can do is just change d0 to the name you want.

It don't need to be in User Parameter.

I want my parameter to be there even if the dimension is deleted.
