Continuous orbit question.

Is it possible to set up a continuous orbit ie. "shift" and "orbit" that orbits the model in a manner that shows evenly all 8 corners of the model, or all 6 sides of a cube, say, rather than just a random orbit dependent upon your stroke of the mouse? This would make the orbit a lot neater in a presentation environment.

Regards.

Set to isometric view, invoke the orbit command, hover over area indicated in attached file, (when the curser turns into an elipse with an arrow on it, this constrains the rotation about the y axis as you are looking at it), hold shift and let rip.  The speed at which you let rip determines the speed of continuous orbit but it should be uniform on the imaginary y axis
