Content Centre Structural Shape Publishing

Hey Everyone

Does anyone know if its possible when Publishing a part as Structural, to publish it in a way that will enable the BOM QTY parameter to come through as numerical increments (1,2,3,4 so on), instead of it coming through as the length?

Can someone please let me know if this is possible? If so can someone help me achieve this?

Thanks so much 🙂

Also can some one help me with how to publish parts to a custom folder structure inside a custom library?

How do you do this as i cannot seem to get it right?

Is it also possible to move files to different folders inside the custom library after they have been published?

In your part file of your structural shape, go to tools/document settings/bom tab and change the unit type.

I assume you are talking about a custom structural shape to be published...

1.  Author it as a structual component.

2.  On the manage ribbon tab, select Publish part.

3.  Select the libray/language

4.  Select the category (content center location of your custom library)

5.  Map any additional parameters

6.  Fill in its description

Also once you publish your part to content center it cannot be moved.
