Hello,
The initial problem I was having is that I have a laptop and desktop and open my inventor files on both, from a company shared user drive. When I do this the Content Center parts will not transfer between computers since each computer reads from its local file location for Content Center parts. This means I have to resolve any Content Center parts anytime I open a file on a computer other than the one it was created on.
I tried to copy the Content Center file onto the company shared user drive, which both my computers should be able to read from, and redirected the Content Center location pathway on the application settings to this file location. This was done in the application settings on both the Content Center tab and the File tab (see attached photos). However when I click OK a pop-up warning says "No Content Center library exists in the selected location".When I go to an assembly and try to place a part from the content center, nothing appears for me to select. This warning and issue persists even when I try to switch both pathways to back to their original settings.
How can I get the Content Center to exist and read from a shared file location or at the very least get the original Content Center settings reinstated so that I can at least use it?
