Content center library failed to load.

Hi,

I am using Inventor professional 2022 and the content center doesn't show anything. I'm not using Vault. The library is installed in my desktop.

The same problem occurs when I'm trying to add a frame or a bearing. 

I made sure the location of the library is correct in the settings.

I tried updating the software and reinstalling Inventor and content files but it didn't solve the problem. I also tried this with 2019 and 2020 versions but the problem still remains.

Then I tried to configure content center libraries in the projects menu but surprisingly that button doesn't do

anything. I tried pressing it several times restarting the software but it didn't help. 

I will attach my project file below.

Any suggestions ?

I think you are getting source and destination mixed up here

1. I see in your project settings you have your content center files (Source/Database files) mapped as a library folder, this will definitely confuse Inventor as this "Library" location is normally reserved for Inventor part and Assembly files that Inventor can access but cannot change and not for the Inventor IDCL files. Can you delete this setting as per the screen shot below.

2. Is there a specific reason you trying to move these IDCL files to your desktop? I have seen people move this to a server to share it with other users in the organization but if you are a single user I would suggest you move it back to the ProgramData folder and then map it again in Inventor Application options. For Inventor 2022 this location would be "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor 2022\Content Center\Libraries"

Could you try the above and test again if the Content Center Button begins to work again. This error is common if you have a folder that the files are mapped to that the PC cant access so I am hoping it is the first step suggestion which is causing this issue.

There was a defect a few years ago where clicking the "Configure Content Libraries" didn't do anything.  Sorry - can't remember which release, but since you mention 2020 and 2019, I guess you have older versions.  

The problem was related to editing old IPJ's.  Solved by creating a new Project file from scratch (i.e Don't copy the old one.)  I suspect the Project you are editing doesn't contain the libraries - or they need migrating before you'll see them.

Other than that - follow the good advice from @JonathanKruger

I deleted the library path in project but it didnt solve the problem.

I have no idea what the problem was but formatting the hard disk and reinstalling windows 7 solved this problem and a bunch of other problems I had with Inventor.
