Content Center Insert Sort

We recently upgraded to Inventor 2022, I know there is an issue with the way Inventor 2022 sorts the size for inserting content center files (INVGEN-58801).

Does this issue also affect the sort order for thread series also? In all of our previous versions the default thread series was UNC, now it is defaulting to UNF, which will be a major learning curve issue for our employees that have been doing it a certain way for years. Does anyone know a way to change the order to default to UNC instead?

See below example, I don't see any rhyme or reason as to why a -16 UNF would come before -10 UNC even with sorting alphanumerically, and I have the UNC listed ahead of the UNF in the family table as well.

I noticed this as well in 2022 that the sorting is off. I had a friend verify in previous versions that the sorting was correct. You should also be able to see this with standard content between versions as well.

Hi Folks,

I believe this was discussed a few months ago. It was reported as INVGEN-58801. The latest status shows that it will be fixed in the coming 2022.3 update and 2023.1 update.

Many thanks!

Update 2022.3 does fix the size sorting issue, but does not fix the defaulting to fine thread issue
