Concentric hole

This is a YouTube demo. A concentric hole is made. My concentric hole is drifting to a side. What is the reason?

There is no Hole feature in the file you attached.

Create the hole and then attach the file here. 

It doesn't appear to me that you ever selected the Concentric Reference (a circle or cylinder).

If you had created your hole before attaching the file - that answer would be known.

I have solved the problem. Please ignore it.

When you place a Concentric Hole the first pick is for a planar face on which to locate the hole.

When you select the Planar Face the Hole preview will be wherever you happen to click the face.

Then the second pick is for the Concentric Reference.  I recommend always picking the cylindrical face rather than circular edge as later on you might have to go back in history and make a change that causes the circular reference to be lost - but it is likely that a change would be made completely removing the cylindrical feature.  If you did remove the cylindrical feature through a early history edit - the hole would have to be recreated anyhow.

The user in that YouTube video could use some instruction on mid-plane extrusions and Rib features.

1st part I did the way you advice.

2nd part is more clearly understood by an example only. Either I have to come across in a YouTube demo or it is highly appreciated if you could support by an example.

Change to Parallel to Plane.

Also, Sketch3 should be fully constrained.

Project Goemetry the arc and make Tangent and Coincident.

Then, instead of deleting the projected geometry like the beginner in the video - simply change it to Construction.

Why did you create a new Work Plane rather than use the YZ Plane for Sketch3?

because you probably picked the wrong selection for the direction of the sketch plane..

You need to pick parallel to sketch plane

It works just fine.. watch..

The only thing I did was open your part.. press the rib button and pick the "Parallel to sketch plane" button..

Now it is working. Direction 2 button was on that was why it didn't work before. Thanks for your help.
