Combine 2 sheets with section view to another IDW file

I have 2 sheets, the first with a plan view of my project and the second with a section view of sheet one, I need to copy these two sheets to combine them in another idw, but when copying and pasting it, this warning appears "Following view(s) must be copied along with their parent view(s) or view(s) they are dependent pon"  how can i copy or combine the two sheets to another idw?

Hi

If you have a section on the sheet, it means that there is a section base outside the sheet.

I think it will be easier to move this base to the sheet area and describe it on the basis of the second sheet than to copy the views.

Yes, it can be done that way, but I'm worried about the processing times because I'm working on combining many idw into one and I need to copy the base view (sheet 1) and the section view (sheet 2) I must do this many times, I would like to find a solution that is only copy and paste to reduce the times, but when I select the two sheets and copy and paste the sheet with the base view is copied normally but the sheet two with the section view is not copied and I get this warning "Following view(s) must be copied along with their parent view(s) or view(s) they are dependent on"

Derived views (sections) are dependent on based views. If you have a section view on a sheet, that means you have a base view on the same sheet (out of paper space but on the same sheet) that must be preserved for the section to exist.

Follow the instruction: copy parent and detail/section views.

Detail view need the view it was created from.

Copy both sheets and paste it new IDW.

Drag and move the section view to the other sheet in new IDW.

You must first transfer the section to the parent plan sheet.

Yes, that's what I'm doing but in some cases it's up to 40 section views of the same base reference, which makes this method very slow.

Move the parent to the sheet with section view.
