Changing Drawing Sheet Size

I have an existing A3 Landscape Drawing Template with defined border and title block.  Other defaults are set through 'Styles Editor' and I wish to keep those while creating templates on different sheet sizes.  In the first instance I want an A4 Portrait template, and the format is listed in my A3 template.

I have copied the existing drawing to the new name, and removed the Border and Title Block.  What I want to do is change the Sheet Format.

How do I do that?  My every effort is strenuously resisted.

Thanks

Fret not!  I discovered it.

FTR: Save as new drawing,  RBC on the desired size --> New Sheet,  then delete old sheet.

Also how do you change sheet size? I am stumped. Can you only choose the size when you print? I have a custom title block, and I want to make it into a Ansi D size sheet.

Expand  your Drawing Resources.

To change existing sheet size - Right mouse Button Click on the Sheet:1 and select Edit Sheet.

Can we change the sheet template size from A4 to A3 if it is production drawing.

If we have a production released drawing and if we need to add one more view in the drawing and if we do not have a space, can we increase the existing sheet size from A4 to A3.

Hi! I believe it is quite easily doable. Simply swap out the border. However, it means the released drawing needs to be checked out and saved. Or you will lose the change.

Many thanks!

Hello Sir,

Thanks for the replay. Yes i know by changing border we can alter the drawing size.

Here my question was if it is production drawing and we are doing the ECN . In that case can we alter the sheet size from A4 to A3, please clarify.

In ISO standard can we get the update on this query please suggest

Hi! I am sorry I don't understand your request. If possible, please share a drawing template file or an Inventor drawing file so that we can understand it better.

Many thanks!
