Change text style of an existing text

HI,

I have an title block with some text. At the beginning I didn't look to the text style Option, so I created all text with the note style.

I'd like to Change the text style of the existing text to a different text style but the field is greyed out.

Creating a new text, the text style Option is working and a pop down list shows all available styles, but as soon the text Dialog was closed ones and you edit the text again, the drop down list is greyed out.

Any idea how to change the text style?

Select your text (not edit), go to the annotation tab and select the new style from the dropdown list under "format":

I wonder why it isn't possible to change the style inside the text editor - anyway many thanks for your help
